PECAN
PROS: A hard and dense light to dark brown wood. Is fairly well available as strip flooring, sometimes mixed up with hickory. It has a fine but still very distinctive grain pattern and is modestly priced.
CONS: You may not find it in your area, it is more popular in the Deep South. |
